S.M.R.S. - The School of Model Railways Spain
Main Objetives
- Develop and expand student's model railways hobby interest and existing modelling abilities
- Giving tutorials on all aspects of railway modelling
- Provide "hands-on" exercises for the students
- Engage students in the construction of the school exhibition layout
- Form a model railway club and promote railway modelling on the Costa Blanca
Introduction to the tutorials
- Our course modules are designed such that whether the student is an absolute beginner or semi-experienced modeller, everyone can benefit, irrespective of age or experience, from learning new skills or discovering othermethonds and means to achieving the ultimate goal, Superior scale model railways.
- The school layout is in 4mm:1ft scale, and measures approx. 25mts x 16mts and encompasses GWR, Southem, LMS and LNER with all the the pre-group constituants and post-nationalisation British Railways steam, diesel and multiple units ara.
